4th Annual Car Wash for a Cure: Presented by WashLinks (Friday, May 08, 2026)

The Canadian Carwash Association, in partnership with the Canadian Spinal Research Organization, is pleased to announce the launch of the 4th Annual Car Wash for a Cure, a Canada-wide initiative that encourages car washes to fundraise over two days to benefit spinal cord research.

On May 8 and May 9, 2026, Canadian car washes from coast to coast will participate in this initiative through a variety of activities that promote community building, philanthropy and contributing to a great cause. Activities may include:

Car wash owner/operators asking their customers to donate spare change;
Donating a portion of their sales over the two days;
Inviting their community leaders to participate and promote to their constituents;
Creating a fun/interactive activity that engages their customers in the fundraiser;
Promoting their involvement via social media;
Raising awareness of the Canadian Spinal Research Organization.

Did you know that almost half of Spinal Cord Injuries are caused by motor vehicle crashes? Road safety is a major priority to both the CCA and CSRO.

The Canadian Carwash Association encourages its members and stakeholders to participate in this initiative to not only give back, but to help contribute to a strong and resilient car wash industry. There is no fee to register.

The Canadian Carwash Association (CCA) is the only association dedicated to the Canadian Carwash industry! The Canadian Spinal Research Organization (CSRO) is dedicated to the funding of targeted research to maximize functional recovery and cure paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. We envision a world without paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Through our many fundraising initiatives, and strategic partnerships the CSRO/ASRO has raised nearly 30 million dollars for spinal cure research since 1984. The Intuit More with AI Tour is coming to Toronto on May 14! In partnership with CFIB, the event will provide small- and medium-sized businesses with the knowledge and resources they need to take full advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) and the benefits it brings.

This FREE, in-person event, comprised of actionable, expert-led workshops, is designed for business owners at the beginning of their AI journey and just getting started with exploring how to use it. It will cover practical applications of AI and demonstrate how AI tools can streamline operations, enhance customer experiences, and help you achieve your business goals.
