About this webinar: 

Join WSPS (Workplace Safety & Prevention Services) and learn about:

1) The Employee Health & Safety Handbook Generator that creates a customizable and compliance-friendly orientation handbook

• Provides an overview of health and safety legislation in Ontario, outlining the responsibilities of the employer, supervisor, and worker as defined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
• Addresses health and safety requirements for different small business sizes (1-5 employees, 6-19 employees, 20+ employees) with a customizable tool.
• Tips to ensure effective delivery of orientation information. 

2) This FREE SERVICE is available to small business owners in Ontario with under 20 employees who are driven to improve their health & safety program and manage risks. Participants will receive the following support from a certified safety professional (CRSP):

• Coaching to understand requirements under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, based on business size.
• A site visit and walk-through to raise awareness of significant hazards
• Guidance to help prioritize action items and identify program implementation.

Bio: As an accomplished Account Representative at Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS), I’ve dedicated over seventeen years to championing health and safety. My journey within WSPS has been a dynamic one, allowing me to wear various hats and gain invaluable insights into the industry.

For the past four years, I’ve proudly served on the Small Business Team, where I collaborate closely with small enterprises and community organizations. My mission? To ensure they’re equipped with the essential knowledge, tools, and resources needed to cultivate a secure work environment.
